As the Activation GTM Manager for AI Workforce in India, you will play an important role in accelerating growth and increasing customer adoption of Microsoft’s AI solutions. You will work closely with teams across Sales, Marketing, Consulting, Customer Success, Sales Excellence, partners, and other Microsoft functions to turn strategic priorities into effective local execution.
Your focus will be on bringing teams together, improving sales and marketing processes, strengthening pipelines, and making sure field teams have the right information, tools, and support to succeed.
This position is ideal for an experienced marketing or sales professional who enjoys solving complex business challenges and turning ideas into action. You will be expected to think strategically, use data to guide decisions, identify roadblocks, and create alignment across different teams.

Microsoft Marketing Jobs in India: What You’ll Do
Drive Go-to-Market Strategy
You will work with Solution Play GTM Managers and regional teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for key Solution Plays. This includes identifying market opportunities, creating practical execution plans, and helping field teams turn strategic priorities into measurable results.
You’ll also work across sales operations, marketing, change management, and business planning to keep teams aligned and focused on the right priorities.
Activate Sales and Marketing
You will lead sales activation initiatives and help bring Microsoft’s Solution Plays to life across different customer segments. Your work will focus on connecting sales and marketing activities, improving pipeline performance, and increasing Microsoft’s market impact.
You will also collaborate with the Global Partner Solutions (GPS) organization to develop partner-led marketing and demand-generation programs that support business growth.
Strengthen Microsoft’s Market Presence
You will help promote Microsoft’s broader strategy and Solution Areas while strengthening the company’s presence across relevant industries.
This will involve understanding market trends, identifying opportunities, and helping teams position Microsoft’s solutions effectively for customers and partners.
Represent the Voice of Customers, Partners, and Field Teams
A key part of the role will be listening to customers, partners, and sales teams and bringing their feedback back into the business.
You’ll provide insights on areas such as competitive activity, customer needs, solution gaps, sales trends, and market changes. These insights will help Microsoft continuously improve its go-to-market strategies and programs.
Use Data to Improve Performance
You will help teams turn data into useful business insights. This includes identifying what is working, understanding challenges, and finding opportunities to improve sales performance.
You’ll also help establish consistent business rhythms, processes, and tools that allow leaders, managers, and sellers to spend more time engaging with customers and partners.
Your work will support better resource allocation, stronger execution, and more informed business decisions.
Build Alignment and Lead Through Change
You will help create clarity across teams by making complex ideas easier to understand and turning them into clear actions.
The role requires strong collaboration, influence, and leadership. You’ll be expected to remove obstacles, bring teams together, encourage accountability, and help people adapt to changing business priorities.

Microsoft Marketing Jobs in India: What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- At least 10 years of experience in marketing strategy, business planning, sales enablement, business development, technical pre-sales, or a related field.
- Equivalent professional experience may also be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in marketing strategy, business planning, sales enablement, business development, technical pre-sales, or a related area.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- At least 10 years of experience managing and expanding product or solution portfolios.
- Experience driving demand generation and pipeline growth within a complex organization, such as a multinational or matrixed company.
