Project Procurement Manager Job Description
The PPM (Project Procurement Manager) is chargeable for the Procurement of Equipment, Services, and Materials to be issued to fabrication yards. The PPM will supervise the Project Procurement Team and make sure that each procured equipment and materials are delivered on the website, on time, inside the price range and that quality is managed in line with the project inspection plans. The PPM organizes and coordinates sports of Package Buyers, Expeditors, Logistics Coordinators, Inspection Coordinators, and Vendor Document Controller.
Project Procurement Manager Task & Responsibilities
The PPM will:
- – Establish a complete undertaking useful resource and mobilization plan
- – Produce a Project Procurement Plan
- – Attend all Project Progress Meetings to become aware of the scope of procurement services required for the challenge and assume potential revisions
- – Review and approve Purchase Requisitions
- – Ensure the Purchase Orders are issued in compliance with the Project time table and finances (or target)
- – Liaise with the Supply Chain Manager to pick venture procurement techniques

- – Monitor progress, forecast delivery and forwarding dates
- – Monitor project procurement expenditure and price forecast and offer management with complete procurement reports
- – Manage and solve contractual problems
- – Manage Purchase Order agreement documents together with correspondence
- – May act as Project Buyer for essential system applications deemed “Critical” and or deemed “High Value” if required
- – Ensure capacity suppliers for devices and substances are accredited through the task
- – Provide a phase for the Final Project Report protecting procurement and Vendor exams upon of entirety of the assignment
- – Oversee set-up and maintenance of the Procurement Database.
- Minimum of 12 – 18 years of enjoy as a Lead Buyer or PPM with an Oil and Gas or EPC business enterprise. This enjoy should encompass group lead, management, or supervisory level. The best candidate could have extensive and deep procurement experience.
