Job Description: Supply Chain Leadership Development Intern
Wayfair’s Supply Chain Leadership Development Intern is a structured Summer Internships program aimed at grooming the next generation of supply chain leaders. Interns will work on high-impact projects within fulfillment centers and learn the operational and strategic aspects of supply chain management from a hands-on perspective. The internship is designed to give participants a deep understanding of logistics, data-driven decision-making, and team leadership in a modern supply chain environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support everyday operations in a high-quantity fulfillment center
- Analyze method inefficiencies and propose improvements
- Partner with move-realistic teams to execute the delivery chain responsibilities
- Contribute to stock management, order achievement, and shipping techniques
- Assist in dealing with workflows and ensuring a nicely timed transport
- Use information, gear, and KPIs to track typical overall performance and operational metrics
- Shadow management and take part in management-diploma conferences, and make plans
Key Skills:
- Strong analytical and trouble-solving skills
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Ability to work independently and in a crew
- Time management and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in Excel, statistics analysis equipment, and basic SQL (a plus)

Educational Background:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or an associated area

Experience:
- Previous internship or coursework in the supply chain, operations, or logistics is nice, but not mandatory
- Experience in fast-paced environments, which includes retail or customer service, is a plus
