Job Description: Manufacturing Engineering Intern
As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at Flowserve’s Bridgeville, PA facility, you will paintings alongside skilled experts to support production tactics, enhance overall performance, and participate in engineering initiatives aligned with manufacturing dreams. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with technique development projects to enhance production overall performance and decrease waste.
- Collaborate with engineers to research manufacturing workflows and optimize structures.
- Support the design, documentation, and implementation of trendy running strategies (SOPs)
- Work with exquisite assurance to perceive and remedy production troubles
- Contribute to lean manufacturing and Six Sigma projects
- Monitor key ordinary overall performance signs (KPIs) and provide records-driven hints
- Aid in the troubleshooting of the system and the system in a shop floor environment
- Prepare technical documentation and critiques for internal review
Key Skills Required
- Strong expertise in mechanical or enterprise engineering standards
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and so forth)
- Familiarity with production gear and system
- Excellent trouble-solving and analytical thinking capabilities
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Strong interest in detail and organizational capabilities
- Basic information on lean manufacturing principles is a plus
Education and Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related subject.
- Must have completed at least four years of undergraduate coursework by the summer season 2025
- A minimum GPA of three. Zero is preferred
- Previous internship or assignment in a production or engineering environment is an advantage.
Experience Requirements

- Previous internships, co-ops, or educational projects concerning manufacturing strategies will be useful.
