Job Description: Audit Intern 

As an Audit Intern in KPMG’s Japanese Practice, you’ll gain hands-on experience in financial auditing and customer services. This Summer Internship is designed for university students with a passion for Japanese businesses operating in the U.S. or global markets. Interns will work closely with professionals to investigate the basics of auditing, which include financial statement exams, risk assessment, and audit documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting audit teams in conducting financial audits for multinational customers.
  • Analyzing monetary statements and identifying discrepancies or areas of problem.
  • Assisting in internal manipulation exams and hazard assessment.
  • Preparing focused audit documentation and reports.
  • Participating in consumer meetings and crew discussions.
  • Learning KPMG’s audit technique and software program equipment.
  • Contributing to a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Key Skills Required

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written conversation abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education and Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
