Revenue Recognition Team Leader a group accountable for dealing with the entire sales recognition lifecycle—ensuring accurate, compliant, and nicely timed revenue recording according with requirements like ASC 606 and SOX. You’ll oversee billing, reconciliations, agreement assessment, and technique upgrades for the duration of international customers and finance systems.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Billing & AR: Coordinate invoicing, credit score notes, and receivables evaluation; ensure completeness of billed/unbilled balances.
  • Revenue Recognition Compliance: Ensure earnings is identified consistent with ASC 606; lead length-forestall reconciliations and documentation for auditors.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor, compare, and manual institution contributors on profits strategies, machine entries, and manage protocols.
  • Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate with finance functions (FP&A, Tax, Legal), employer groups (e.G., SEC/Controllership), and Shared Service Centers to hold sturdy control and governance.
  • Process Automation: Enhance overall performance by means of automating obligations through gear like Alteryx, Power BI, PowerShell, or robotic bots.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Build dashboards and standing opinions to screen income well-known usual performance, KPIs, and billing developing vintage.
  • Audit Readiness: Support internal and outside audits with the resource of keeping SOX-compliant documentation, device notes, and control logs.

🎓 Qualifications & Skills

Education: Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or related field; advanced credentials (CA/CPA/MBA) favored.

Experience: five–eight+ years in finance roles (AR, sales recognition, shared services); 2+ years in a leadership capability.

Technical Expertise:

  • Strong facts of ASC 606, SOX controls, billing-to-GL flows.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.G., PeopleSoft, Yardi, OneStream), Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and automation machine.

Soft Skills:

  • Analytical thoughts-set with a force for accuracy and way improvement.
  • Excellent conversation, stakeholder manage, and team manage.
  • Ability to govern multiple priorities, meet closing dates, and art work US/EMEA time zones.
