Role Information

The Associate Technical Illustrator Publications team of Boeing is to appoint a new member, Associate Technical Illustrator, in their group in Chennai, India. The main duties of the position will be to support Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) by preparing and verifying detailed illustrations for technical publications. Moreover, the person selected as the best candidate will be dedicated to complex source data analysis, accurate production of illustrations, and part of the compliance with the existing standards and procedures as well.

Principal Accountabilities

• Get done and make the accompanying technical with simplified source data.
• On your own, dissect, explain, and convert source data into easily understandable visuals.
• Make sure that the accuracy and compliance of the technical and procedural standards are always met.
• Go over works of art and come up with suggestions for the necessary corrections to the areas in which they do not comply.
• Contact with engineers, groups of different functions, and customers to find solutions to the problems.
• Document and maintain processes that align with ISO standards.
• Ensure that production can be supported according to the schedule without any compromise in the quality of the outputs.
