7-Eleven, Inc. would like to have the services of an Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager) who would be part of the 7-Eleven team. Considering that this job is aligned with the skill set and experience that a person with a supervisory or retail management background has, it seems that the person would benefit from leading a team, providing excellent customer service, and generally being in charge of the Store Leader. Your responsibilities will be around taking care of the day-to-day business, spearheading staff training, and getting new customers engaged under the supervision of the Store Leader.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and train store employees.
  • Promote employee retention and productivity by stimulating employee empowerment and engagement.
  • Help in the execution of merchandising and marketing strategies.
  • Deal directly with cash, fuel transactions, and promotional offers through the loyalty program.
  • Keep the store environment safe, clean, and up to code.
  • Always provide excellent customer service.

What You Bring

  • A year in retail management or as a retail supervisor. (The completion of high school or its equivalent is preferred.)
  • Great leadership, planning, and interpersonal skills.
  • Some knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel are referred to).
  • Carrying a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
  • The capacity to handle more than one task at a time and do the required physical work, such as pushing, pulling, and lifting of the weighted goods up to 50 lbs.
